Central Mums seeks to find the best child and family friendly spots on the Coast, by bringing you a short review of the places we find. This week, we look at , located in Wyong.



If you're looking for somewhere a little different to spend your day, take a trip to the wonderful . Set in a quiet location on the river and away from traffic, there's plenty to see and do.

Start by heading to the awesome fully fenced playground, where kids will have fun playing in the pirate boat or climbing in to the trees and up to the cubby houses. The playground is shaded with trees and has a soft fall floor, perfect for little ones who may still be wobbly! Inside the playground, you'll also find picnic benches, great to have lunch or coffee at and still be close to watching the kids play.

Venture inside the Milk Factory and you'll find a lovely cafe with a delicious menu for breakfast, lunch and snacks, plus dinner from Thursday to Sunday. There's also a yummy kids menu too.

Whilst you're there, it's definitely worth visiting the working cheese and chocolate factories. Taste locally made produce or buy some to take home. Kids will love the novelty chocolate shapes in the chocolate factory! If cheese is more your thing, check out the cheese factory's delectable and renowned haloumi cheese.

Once you're done eating, playing and produce tasting, why not head for a leisurely trip along the peaceful river by hiring a kayak, row boat or stand up paddle board. A great way to spend time having fun with the family, plus keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife in the river, on the waters edge and up in the trees. Entry is free and it is open daily, plus toilet facilities are onsite.
