Got a kid aged eight or over who's starting to look a bit too familiar with the back of their eyelids these school holidays? Or perhaps they're just brimming with creative energy that needs an outlet. Well, Tuggerah Library is hosting a workshop on July 7th where they can try their hand at making a dreamcatcher. They'll get to weave together hoops, beads, and feathers to conjure up their very own personalised dream protector.

It's a nice, calm sort of activity that lets them tap into their artistic side without too much fuss. Plus, they'll walk away with a handmade treasure to hang above their bed, hopefully ensuring only the good vibes get through. Think of it as a small act of rebellion against screen time, offering a bit of culture and a whole lot of craft.
