This school holiday, Kariong Library is letting kids aged 8 and up unleash their inner artist (or at least, their inner paint splasher). They will be creating their very own butterfly themed canvas, which sounds much more sophisticated than just 'drawing on the wall'.

There will be a helpful grown up on hand to show them the ropes, guiding them through colours, patterns, and brush techniques. The idea is for them to make a personal artwork to take home, giving you something new for the fridge gallery. It is a hands on session, aiming to get those imaginations buzzing and encourage a bit of self expression, making it a perfectly decent way to spend a morning.
