School Holiday Fun at The Art House

by Kim (follow)
The Art House is the Central Coast’s home for live entertainment and family-friendly theatre. Introduce the kids to live performance for the first time and see their faces light up with the magic of new worlds onstage!

There are few experiences more exciting for a child than a live theatre performance! The bright lights, shining colors and energy of a live performance will remain in their memory for years to come. However, not all shows are written with little ones in mind. It’s important to know which performances are going to leave the best lasting impressions on your kids, and hopefully turn them into avid theatre-goers themselves.

The Art House's theatre performances are a great way to spend connective experience as a family away from screens, and are perfect for little ones these School Holidays!

The award-winning kids comedy duo, The Listies have pulled apart Shakespeare’s classic and glued it back together with hilarious costumes, loads of silliness and plenty of interactivity.

Expect bonus pillow fights, pirates, ninjas, ninja pirates, aliens, ninja pirate aliens, zombies and more as The Listies take families on a fun-filled hour of theatre.

This is not the show to sit and be still as The Listies encourage the kids to get involved through interactive elements of the show.

Beep is not showing during the School Holidays, but it is a perfect first show for your little ones.

From the makers of the multi-award winning Grug shows, Beep tells the story of what happens when someone new comes to town as a robot lands in a new a world. It's a captivating play of gentle storytelling, music and puppetry designed especially for early childhood and is the perfect way to introduce toddlers to the world of theatre.

It is a slightly sideways tale about unexpected friendship, finding where you fit and learning to mix it up a little. In Mort’s Village everything has its place, every day is the same and everyone likes it that way. Until one morning, crash, boom, bang… down comes Beep.
