Us mums sure do need a break once in a while. After a week of making lunch boxes, wiping noses, booking play dates, doing the school run and not to mention all the cooking and cleaning plus potentially maintaining our own careers, a night out to blow off some steam is just what we need!

There are some great places here on the Central Coast to provide a fun night out and below is just a small list of some of our favourites. So grab your girlfriends, book in the babysitter and go have a mums night out at one of these top Central Coast locations!

1. Florida Beach Bar, Terrigal

Eat, drink, relax or dance the night away at Florida Beach Bar, downstairs at the Crowne Plaza in Terrigal. The beer garden with its under cover seating area is huge and, on certain nights, you can chill out to some wonderful live music. Treat yourself to a delicious meal, order a beverage from the bar and, on weekends, party into the night with live DJs.

2. Bamvino, Erina Heights

In the mood for some delicious Italian? Book a table at Bamvino in Erina Heights for a night of beautiful food and great atmosphere. As well as serving great Pizza and a variety of wines, Bamvino aims to offer its customers something more than the usual Italian restaurant- "quality produce sourced from renowned producers, local and international, with the aim of bringing City quality to the Coast."
We hear the Mezze Sharing Plate filled with produce from the Bamvino Deli is well worth a try too!

3. #about -rhondas">Rhonda's, Terrigal

Tucked away in a side street of Terrigal hides Rhonda's; a funky tapas restaurant serving delicious dishes and cocktails. Rhonda's hosts a variety of specials throughout the week, such as $10 tapas Tuesdays, Thursday Night Paealla and the popular "27 after dark" Saturday nights where diners are welcome to head upstairs after 9pm to dance and party to live DJs. Dinner, drinks and partying sounds to us like a great plan for a mums night out!

4. Coco Banana Brazilian Restaurant, The Entrance

For your next girls night out, head to Coco Banana restaurant at The Entrance for a Brazilian feast. Situated on the waters edge with panoramic views, Coco Banana aims to provide a vibrant Brazilian atmosphere as well as authentic and tasty Brazilian food. On Saturday nights, get ready to party carnival style, as Coco Banana lights up with a colourful, seductive and vibrant Samba floor show.

5. Kim's Beachside Retreat Restaurant, Toowoon Bay

For an extra special treat and a night of pure indulgence, Kim's is the place to be to enjoy exceptional cocktails and a fabulous restaurant experience. Dinner is served in the form of a beautiful buffet, with a menu that changes with the season, though expect to choose from mouth watering cuisine such as Sydney Rock Oysters, Iluka King Prawns and Slipper Lobster, Sashimi, a large hot vegetarian selection, home made curries, slow roasted meats, deli meats, plus a large cheese selection and home made ice cream. A truly special dining experience whilst set in a private bush location overlooking the stunning beach.



6. The Coast Bar and Restaurant, Gosford

With a huge and varied food menu, a licensed bar and a picturesque waterfront location, The Coast Bar and Restaurant makes for a great place to head for a mums night out. Reserve an outdoor table on the waters edge during the warmer months and indulge in a cool beverage whilst the sun goes down, before tucking in to a tasty meal.

7. The Box On The Water, Ettalong Beach

Is a waterfront dining experience just what you and the girls are after? The Box On The Water can provide just that, right on the waters edge of beautiful Ettalong. With panoramic views out across Broken Bay, to Box Head and Sydney's Northern Beaches plus a choice of fresh and modern Australian cuisine on offer, The Box makes for a great pick for your next night out. Sunset sips start on a Friday and continues over the weekend between 3 and 6pm.
