Gyms With Creches
Gyms offer mums the opportunity to do group classes and work out alone, which is why more gyms are catering to families with crèches.
Crèches provide mums with a few hours to exercise and shower in peace, for a small fee. All the gyms below take infants through to children up to 12 years old, and have childminders that will change nappies and feed bottles to babies.
Mingara One Fitness at Tumbi Umbi has gym equipment, a pool, and mums and bubs fitness classes. The Playhouse crèche attached to the club is open seven days a week, and takes kids starting at 6 weeks for $10 per child for up to 3 hours.
Active Fitness at the Doyalson-Wyee RSL is open Monday to Saturday and charges only $5/child or $8 for 2 or more children 6 weeks or older for a whole week for members or $3.50 per child for casual crèche visits.
Peninsula Leisure Centre (PLC) at Woy Woy has a gym and pool. Their crèche is open to children 6 weeks and over from 8:15am until 12:30pm and charges $6.90 per child for non-members and $4.40 per child for members.
Genesis Fitness at the Central Coast Leagues Club in Gosford has morning and afternoon sessions from Monday to Saturday at their crèche, for a fee of $3.50 per child, starting at 12 weeks of age.
