Sometimes it's nice to get out and enjoy a family breakfast at one of the many fabulous cafes the Central Coast has to offer (and to let someone else do the cooking and cleaning up!). Us coasties really are spoilt for choice with fantastic eateries, with many being family friendly.

Here's a list of just a selection of family friendly breakfast locations here on the Central Coast:

1. Seasalt Restaurant, Terrigal

Address: Crowne Plaza Terrigal (level 1 of the hotel)

Opening Hours:

Located within the beautiful Crowne Plaza hotel, experience a delicious buffet breakfast at Seasalt Restaurant , which overlooks Terrigal beach. Keep an eye out for the locals special, where Central Coast locals can enjoy the buffet breakfast for $27 each instead of the usual $39.50. Children aged 5-12 are $15 for the buffet and children under 5 eat free.

2. Lotus Cafe, Wamberal

Address: 127A Ocean View Drive, Wamberal

Opening Hours: 7am - 3pm

A cosy and coastal chic cafe, that offers a delicious breakfast menu and freshly made drinks. The cafe has a delightful outdoor seating area, plus seating indoors too and young children will be kept entertained looking through the toy box. Lotus also has an excellent lunch menu.



3. Warnies Cafe, Warnervale

Home to the famous Warnies Crazy Shakes, Warnies Cafe makes for an excellent place to have a family breakfast. With an extensive breakfast menu as well as a great kids menu , plus smoothie bowls, a huge range of drinks, platters and, of course, Crazy Shakes , there's plenty of delicious food to choose from. Children will enjoy playing in the playground outside and watching for the trains to go past.



4. Wyong Milk Factory Cafe, Wyong

Part of the wonderful Wyong Milk Factory, the Cafe is a fantastic place for a family breakfast. Serving a delicious breakfast menu (which is served until 11.30am), plus a kids menu , enjoy your breakfast at this serene location or let the kids head on over to the awesome playground for a play. 5. Bamboo Buddha, Holgate

Make a visit to the stunning Bamboo Buddha and it'll be like being transported to a tranquil, tropical oasis. The setting is beautiful, with seating amongst tropical trees and a Koi fish pond to relax by. The menu is a delicious vegetarian and vegan menu with a scrumptious breakfast menu, which is available from 9am until 11.30am.



6. The Point Cafe, Avoca Beach

Address: 10 Vine Street, Avoca Beach

Opening Hours: 7am - 3.30pm

Avoca Beach is a fantastic place to head for a family day out and The Point Cafe is a great way to start the day with breakfast. The cafe is situated overlooking the ocean, next to an awesome playground and the surf club, plus has easy access down to the beach and the child-friendly rock pool. The breakfast menu is well covered and has a kids menu for younger diners.

7. Jasmine Greens Kiosk, Umina Beach

Address: Peninsula Recreation Precinct, Sydney Avenue, Umina Beach

Opening Hours:

Enjoy a delicious brekkie at #eat -together">Jasmine Greens Kiosk down at the recreation precinct at Umina Beach and then head over to the amazing playground and bike track to let the kids burn off some steam! The food served at the cafe is all freshly made using local produce, with a Mediterranean influence. Well worth a visit for breakfast if you're in the area.
