Even though it's Winter, there's still plenty happening in July for families and kids on the Central Coast.
July 2nd: The Food Farm, Harvest Festival Central Coast
10am-3pm 216 Yarramalong Rd, Wyong Creek

The Food Farm, happening in Wyong Creek. Experience activities such as harvesting your own veggies, "meet your meat" opportunities, enjoy a paddock to plate lunch or bring your own picnic to enjoy in the sunshine in one of the paddocks.
There'll be plenty to see and do, including vintage tractors, cows, pony rides for the kids, fire trucks, potato sack races and a jumping castle. Entry is free, pony rides are $5 and turns on the jumping castle are a gold coin donation, with proceeds going to the fire brigade.
July 2nd: Whale Dreamers Festival
10am-2pm Norah Head Lighthouse
With the intention of bringing the community together to raise awareness of the plight of whales, the locally created
Whale Dreamers Festival will be a fun and educational day. Learn about the whales and help raise funds for conservation and whale research projects. There'll be free entertainment and activities on the day and keep your eyes peeled for the migrating whales out in the ocean.
July 7th - July 15th: Ice Skating in Kibble Park
10am-7pm Gosford
During these school holidays, go
Ice Skating at the Central Coast's only outdoor ice rink. Skating sessions costs $10 per person and each session starts on the hour, lasting 45 minutes. For younger children and those less stable on the ice, there'll be "push penguins" available to hire, so everyone can join in on the fun! Make sure you visit the special events happening:
Disney Theme Day, July 8th: Get the kids dressed up in their favourite Disney character outfit.
Family Fun Day, July 9th: Lots of fun family activities such as face painting, circus performers, music performances and giant games.
Outdoor Cinema, July 15th: Bring the whole family along to watch a family movie on the outdoor screen.
July 7th: Frozen Outdoor Cinema
6.30pm-8pm Everglades Country Club, Woy Woy
Snuggle up with the family to watch the the beloved Disney movie, Frozen. There will also be visits on the night from Elsa and Anna! This is a free and fun family event held at
Everglades Country Club.
July 8th - July 10th: Rides in the Hive
10am-2pm The Hive, Erina Fair
For some outdoor fun at
Erina Fair, check out the awesome rides making an appearance for a few days during the school holidays. Test your climbing skills on the Rock Climbing wall, have a rodeo ride on the Mechanical Bull and dangle by your arms before making the 9 metre drop down the Cliffhanger Slide!
July 9th: Kid's High Tea Buffet, Into The Wild

Crowne Plaza, Terrigal, is bringing another popular
Kids High Tea event to the Central Coast, this time the theme being Into The Wild. Guaranteed to be so much fun, the kids will love the special wildlife show, can have their face painted, make some plaster painting and balloon animals. As well as all the fun activities, there'll also be a delicious afternoon tea buffet, with cupcakes, sandwiches, candy and more! Dress the kids up in their favourite animal if they wish and head along for a fabulous afternoon!

July 11th: Raw & Unearthed Holidays
9.30am-1.30pm Kincumba Mountain
The popular and fantastic
Raw & Unearthed sessions are holding a special school holiday event for primary school children aged 6-12 years old. Head along for some adventure and fun in nature! Either drop your children off or stay with them for the session.
July 15th: Obstacool Central Coast
10am-3pm University of Newcastle (Ourimbah Campus)
For an amazingly fun family event, check out Obstacool, happening at the Ourimbah Campus. Get ready to take to the obstacle course with as a family, which will include pyramids, rock climbing walls and balance beams plus a huge 40 metre giant inflatable. This event is suitable for kids age 4 - 12 year olds plus parents and guardians can take part too.

July 20th - July 21st: We're Going on a Bear Hunt
Laycock Street Community Theatre
Based on the classic children's story, this 55 minutes stage production will delight children and families. Watch the family set off on their bear hunt adventure and venture through the memorable moment such as the swishy swishy grass and the thick mud before finding the dark cave. Keep a look out for the bear!
