Join St. Paul's Catholic College Aboriginal dance group for an engaging storytime experience centered around Sally Morgan's book, "Dingo in the Dark." This lively dance performance tells the tale of Dingo, who grapples with a fear of the dark and relies on the presence of the Sun to feel secure enough to sleep. As Dingo's friends rally to help him conquer his fear, attendees will also have the opportunity to create Australian animal shadow puppets to take home. Geared toward children ages 3-8, each session includes outdoor art activities to craft shadow puppets followed by an indoor performance at The Cube. An adult must accompany children, and tickets are required for both adults and children. The event, part of the Write Here Festival 2024, takes place at MAP mima in Speers Point Park, offering easy accessibility via ramp, accessible toilets, and ample parking, including spaces for buses.
