Fudge Monkey – Umina Beach

Fudge is one of those desserts that take us back to childhood and stays with you forever, and when you find an extraordinary place that has perfected the art of creating the perfect fudge, it’s a bonus when it’s in our backyard.

[Link https://www.facebook.com/FudgeMonkeyAustralia/ Fudge Monkey] is the creation of two ex-executive’s wanting out of the rat-race, to do what they love! So, they’ve made 32 creamy flavours of fudge, 4 decadent nougats, and a crazy rocky road that is a must.

The range of flavours is really quite extraordinary, with creations such as peanut butter sandwich, jungle jaffa, watermelon, passion lime zinger, mango coconut rough, strawberries and cream, butterscotch and pecan, Irish cream, fairy floss, bubblegum and jam donut. These are just some in the assortment and all are 100% gluten free. They also make spectacular custom cakes, corporate gifts, wedding bonbonniere, and marketing and promotional fudge, so get down there and starting trying them out.

These guys are open Monday – Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

Kiss My Cupcake – Erina and Wyong

With two shop front locations on the Central Coast plus a Kiss My Cupcake van that does the rounds, this ensures no one misses out on the delicious creations from [Link http://www.kissmycupcake.com.au/ Kiss My Cupcake].

Baked fresh every day, they have a daily flavour cupcake menu and there is also the seasonal flavour range (check April on their website now), plus their ‘everyday’ range which includes brownie cookie dough, salted caramel, chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, and caramel cheesecake.

Cupcakes are $3.50 each, or a 6 pack for $21 and $42 for a 12 pack. In addition to these they also make delicious cake pops for $1 each or $2.50 for a custom dipped cake pop. Cake and Plate – Niagara Park

Tucked away in Niagara Park, [Link https://www.facebook.com/cakeandplate/ Cake and Plate] is a cake lover’s heaven, where you can order a celebration cake you’ve only dreamt of, and they cater particularly well to children. Whilst the adults enjoy a coffee, the kids can decorate their own cupcake. They receive a plain cupcake, plus loads of icing, lollies and sprinkles so they can come up with their own creations.

Cupcake of the day flavours are $3.50 and the range includes musk, jersey caramel, jaffa, choc on choc, passion fruit, coconut lime, strawberry cheesecake, lemon and so many more. During school holidays they teach kids cake decorating classes so that children aged 5-16, get to enjoy and take part in the fun art of cake decorating.

San Churro – Erina

Aside from to-die-for churros here, you can also treat yourself to volcano cakes, crema catalina, strawberry-chocolate dip, cheesecakes, ice cream sundae or sandwich, dessert tapas and share plates and plenty of tasty beverages for you to select from.

They are a chocolatier and as such have a array of assorted truffles for you to buy and try in flavours like, hazelnut, salted caramel, Baileys, Azteca, Menta, just to mention a few. Other chocolate treats San Churro have include chocolate beans, chocolate orange pieces, chocolate honeycomb, rocky road, chocolate buttons, chocolate bars and drinking chocolate.

San Churro at Erina is open Monday- Thursday 9am-10pm, Friday and Saturday 9am- 11pm, and Sunday 10am – 10pm.
